Installation of 21 ea. CIDH foundation piles for a bridge to connect Bay Bridge to Transbay station.

13 ea. 108” Diameter x 93’ deep average CIDH shafts, 123’ max depth.

4 ea. 96” Diameter x 150’ deep CIDH Shafts.

4 ea. 84” Diameter x39’ deep CIDH Shafts.

Vibratory installation of 10’-12’ diameter top cans for shaft stability and safety.

SONICALIPER tests were performed on all shafts to less than .5% verticality or 6” per 100’ of shaft.

Materials encountered ranged from fill to dense to very dense colma formation, old bay mud and San Franciscan complex berock with greater than 12,000 psi.

Shaft drilled and installed with Bentonite Slurry.

Job performed with ZERO anomalies.
